DCD2/Fueled By Ramen recording group Panic! At The Disco has announced that their highly anticipated fifth studio album, DEATH OF A BACHELOR, will arrive everywhere on Friday, Jan. 15, 2015. The album is now available for pre-order on the iTunes Store accompanied by three instant grat downloads: “Emperor’s New Clothes,” “Hallelujah,” and the recent #1 hit, “Victorious.”

In addition to the new album, Panic! released a stunning new video for “Emperor’s New Clothes” directed by award-winning filmmaker/choreographer Daniel “Cloud” Campos

The clip continues upon 2013’s Cloud-directed “This Is Gospel” video, which has earned close to 40 million views. Panic! At The Disco will introduce fans to DEATH OF A BACHELOR with appearances at a number of radio festivals around the holidays and intimate shows in early January 2016 – London’s Brixton Academy on Jan. 12, New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge on Jan. 14, and Los Angeles’ historic Tower Theatre on Jan. 19.

Produced by Jake Sinclair (Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy), DEATH OF A BACHELOR marks the first release from Panic! At The Disco in nearly two years, following 2013’s acclaimed TOO WEIRD TO LIVE, TOO RARE TO DIE!. The album has already generated significant steam – current single “Victorious” rocketed to #1 on iTunes Top Songs chart, # 1 on Billboard + Twitter’s Trending 140 chart, while also trending worldwide on Tumblr and Twitter. The track is currently soundtracking postseason baseball coverage on the MLB Network and will also be featured in the trailer for 2K Sports’ hugely anticipated “WWE 2K16” video game, set to debut Sunday, Oct. 25 during WWE Network’s Hell In A Cell event and then air across all WWE programming including USA Network’s WWE Raw and Syfy’s WWE Smackdown.

The first single off DOAB, “Hallelujah,” made chart history for the band with a Top 40 debut on Billboard’s “Hot 100” – Panic! At The Disco’s second Top 40 hit and first since 2006’s breakthrough classic, “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies.” The album’s title track premiered exclusively on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio where Urie described “Death of A Bachelor” as, “It’s like some Beyoncé beats with some Sinatra vocals. It’s really crazy… [Sinatra’s] music has been a major player in the soundtrack of my life. So it’s only right that I return the favour and/or pay it forward.”

DEATH OF A BACHELOR is the follow up album to TOO WEIRD TO LIVE, TOO RARE TO DIE! which made a top 2 debut on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its 2013 release. The album was fuelled by the RIAA gold certified single, “Miss Jackson (Feat. Lolo),” and quickly proved a top 10 favourite at Modern Rock radio outlets nationwide. In addition, the song’s companion video – featuring actress Katrina Bowden (30 Rock) – scored major rotation at MTV2, mtvU, FUSE, and Logo’s “NewNowNext,” while earning close to 25 million views.

Released in 2005, Panic! At The Disco’s double platinum-certified debut, A FEVER YOU CAN’T SWEAT OUT remains one of the biggest selling debuts in Fueled By Ramen history. Singles like the 2x-platinum smash, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” earned the band international acclamation and a fervent fan following around the globe, also receiving a number of major honours including multiple Grammy® nominations and the prestigious MTV Video Music Awards “Video of the Year” prize for the “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” video.

Panic! At The Disco’s acclaimed second album, PRETTY. ODD. arrived in 2008, debuting at #2 on SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart upon its initial release. The album’s popular success was matched by a wave of critical applause, with NME declaring it “a victory for artistic ambition over cynical careerism, one of the feel-good psych-pop albums of the year.” They returned three years later with VICES & VIRTUES. The album – which features, “The Ballad of Mona Lisa” and “Ready To Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind)” – made a spectacular chart entry upon its March 2011 release, entering the SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #7, while also coming in at #2 on SoundScan’s “Alternative Albums” chart.

Furthermore, Panic! At The Disco has made high profile TV appearances, including ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, TBS’ Conan, CBS’ The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, the nationally syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show, Fox’s New Year’s Eve Live, NBC’s Miss Universe 2013, and CBS’ broadcast of The 36th Annual Kennedy Center Honours, in which Urie paid tribute to honoree Billy Joel with a characteristically idiosyncratic take on the classic “Big Shot.”

Lianne La Havas Receives First Ever Grammy Nomination For ‘Blood’

Lianne La Havas Receives First Ever Grammy Nomination For ‘Blood’
Nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album alongside The Weeknd and Miguel

llh2

“Blood is dynamic and poignantly self-assured in its introspection… an almost seamless album.” – Pitchfork

“Lianne La Havas, superstar in waiting, is about to be in real demand.” – Evening Standard

“Lianne La Havas sounds like she’s at the top of her game.” – Q

“A game-changing album.” – Sunday Times Culture

“There are moments on Blood that recall the artistry and ambition of Lauryn Hill.” – The Guardian

“Blood is a bold, multi-hued masterpiece.” – Daily Mirror

“One of the most stunning voices of her generation.” – The Sun

Lianne La Havas has achieved an exciting career accomplishment with the news that she has been nominated for a Grammy Award for her current critically acclaimed album ‘Blood’.

‘Blood’ is in contention for Best Urban Contemporary Album alongside The Weeknd, Miguel, The Internet and Kehlani. The winner will be announced at the 58th Grammy Awards ceremony which will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angles on February 15th.

The Grammy nomination adds another major addition to Lianne’s list of achievements with ‘Blood’. Released to a flurry of her best reviews to date with many critics drawing comparisons with the likes of Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu and Joni Mitchell, ‘Blood’ went straight into the charts at #2 – two places higher than the peak position of her popular debut album ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’.

She was also subsequently nominated for three MOBO Awards for Best Album for ‘Blood’, Best Female Act and Best R&B / Soul Act.

Lianne is currently embarking upon her biggest tour to date which concludes next Monday with her biggest headline show to date at the Brixton O2 Academy. After the show sold-out months in advance, Lianne also added a prestigious Albert Sessions show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 14th. Earlier this summer, Lianne played triumphant sets at festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Gentlemen of the Road, Latitude and Secret Garden Party.

‘Blood’ also received similarly glowing reviews across the board in the States. “What comes across first is the sheer grace of her voice. It can be a breathy purr, a lilting tease, a liquid confession or a torchy declaration,” commented the New York Times, while the New Yorker described Lianne as a “polished guitarist and inventive songwriter.” Even President Barack Obama proved to be a fan when he featured Lianne in his summer Spotify playlist.

Lianne’s show-stopping performances could captivate huge audiences – such as on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – and intimate sessions alike, as with her Tiny Desk Concert for NPR. She played her largest North American show to date in front of 2500 people at New York City’s Terminal 5. Billboard’s review concluded that the show was “a treat for true La Havas fans and newcomers alike, a spectacle with incomparable energy.” Lianne is already set to return to the States in February for a series of intimate solo club performances.

The ‘Blood’ album campaign will receive a fresh boost in 2016 when an extended Deluxe Edition is released. Titled ‘Blood – Solo’, the Deluxe Edition will feature stripped-back acoustic versions of the original album’s material which highlights the emotional power of Lianne’s engaging narrative lyrics.

Lianne’s current UK tour dates are scheduled as below:

December 2015

7th – Cambridge, Corn Exchange
8th – Bristol, O2 Academy
9th – Glasgow, O2 ABC
11th – Manchester, Albert Hall (SOLD OUT)
12th – Leeds, O2 Academy
14th – London, Brixton O2 Academy (SOLD OUT)

March 2016

14th – London, Albert Sessions at the Royal Albert Hall (ADDED DATE)

Lianne La Havas made a huge breakthrough with her Top 5 debut album ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’ which sold 200,000 copies and won Album of the Year at iTunes as well as Barclaycard Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello Best Album nominations.

COLDPLAY UNVEIL ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME VIDEO ON FACEBOOK
BAND APPEAR AS CHIMPS IN GROUNDBREAKING ANIMATED CLIP

COLDPLAY

Coldplay have today revealed the exuberant, chimp-led music video for Adventure Of A Lifetime, the first single to be taken from their upcoming A Head Full Of Dreams album.
The video is available exclusively on the band’s Facebook page at facebook.com/coldplay

Directed by Mat Whitecross, the animated video came about after Coldplay’s Chris Martin bumped into actor and motion capture expert Andy Serkis (Lord Of The Rings, King Kong) on a flight, and the two hatched a plan to collaborate. The video, which took six months to make, began with a studio shoot with the band in full motion performance capture rigs. Animators Mathematic then collaborated with motion capture experts Imaginarium to transform the four musicians into 3D chimpanzees.

A Head Full Of Dreams (out December 4) is the vibrant follow-up to 2014’s Ghost Stories, Coldplay’s sixth consecutive worldwide chart topper. Anyone pre-ordering the album from iTunes ahead of its release will receive instant downloads of both Adventure Of A Lifetime and another new song, Everglow (which was premiered by Zane Lowe on Beats One last night).

Tickets for Coldplay’s 2016 European stadium dates go on sale to the public today via Ticketmaster. The band’s Latin American shows then go on sale next week.

Coldplay – A Head Full of Dreams

COLDPLAY BANNER

NEW ALBUM A HEAD FULL OF DREAMS OUT DECEMBER 4
FIRST SINGLE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD/STREAMING NOW!!

81aKDNeeEEL._SL1500_

Coldplay have today announced the global release of their seventh album, ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’, on Friday, December 4 via Parlophone Records. It is preceded by the single, ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’, which is available to download and stream now.

The album, recorded in Malibu, LA and London, was produced by Norwegian duo Stargate together with the band’s long-time collaborator Rik Simpson. It features more guests than any previous Coldplay record, with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton among those appearing across its 11 tracks (12 if you count the buried treasure of the hidden track X Marks The Spot).

‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ is the widescreen follow-up to 2014’s fragile and lovelorn Ghost Stories, Coldplay’s sixth consecutive worldwide chart topper, award winner and multi-million seller. The band chose not to tour Ghost Stories and headed straight back into the studio to record ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’.

Revitalised, they’ve made an album that’s bursting with energy, colour and big, life-affirming moments such as the deliciously ebullient first single ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’ and the rocket-powered Hymn For The Weekend.

Coldplay have never enjoyed making a record more than this one. Nor have they been happier with the results.

And, this time, they plan to take it around the world.

Jess Glynne new single and video ‘Take Me Home’.

JESS GLYNNE
Announces new single and video
‘Take Me Home’

JG

Taken from her #1 album ‘I CRY WHEN I LAUGH’ out now!
Sold-out show The Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Thursday March 31st

Jess Glynne’s astonishing year is set to continue with the release of ‘Take Me Home’.
Today, Jess Glynne’s Take Me Home has been named as this year’s official single for BBC Children in Need
Sales of the track will raise cash for the charity which helps young people and disadvantaged children in the UK.
Already familiar as an album showstopper, ‘Take Me Home’ is a soaring ballad that gives insight to Jess at her most raw, heartfelt and exposed. This in mirrored in the accompanying video, echoing the likes of Sinead O’Conner or Alanis Morissette in its unflinching and unmediated directness that embraces both empowerment as much as vulnerability. It similarly corresponds with the title of the album, ‘I Cry When I Laugh’ – alluding to Jess’ real life propensity to tear up in moments of joy as much as sadness – and the implicit emotional duality of her music.
Of the track & video Jess commented: “This is a song about the need to have someone who cares when you are at your most vulnerable. It’s a very emotional song for me and I have to admit it brings me to tears when I sing it live or when I made the video with Declan (Whitebloom). I hope it makes people realise that they should reach out to others at a time of need.”
The list of Jess’ achievements this year is inexhaustible – her debut album ‘I Cry When I Laugh’ is the biggest selling debut of the year having gone platinum in the UK in only 10 weeks, she has sold 5m singles in the UK and 10m worldwide and has combined You Tube views of over a billion. She has also just performed at the prestigious EMA’s and has her first major sold-out headline show Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on Thursday March 31st , 2016.

Fleetwood Mac builds on its formidable legacy as one of rock’s most legendary acts as they re-visit their most ambitious album with deluxe and expanded editions of TUSK. Originally released in 1979, the Grammy® Award-nominated, double-album sold more than four million copies worldwide, climbed to #4 on the US album charts, and introduced fans to hits like “Sara,” “Think About Me,” and the title track.

The announcement comes as the band – Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks – continues it’s acclaimed, sold out “On With The Show” world tour. Concerts are scheduled this month in Australia and New Zealand with tickets on sale now.

To follow the historic, global success of 1977’s Grammy-Award winning Rumours, Fleetwood Mac chose to take a more experimental approach on Tusk. The most famous example has to be the unexpected and beloved inclusion of the University of Southern California’s marching band on the title track.

TUSK will be available December 4 from Warner Bros. Records as a Deluxe Edition (5-CD/2-LP/1-DVD), an Expanded Edition (3-CD), and a single disc of the newly remastered original album. Digital versions will also be available.

TUSK (DELUXE EDITION) delves deep into the vaults with five CDs including the remastered original album, an alternate version of the complete album made up of session outtakes, most of which have never been released, as well as an additional selection of singles, demos and remixes, including an outtake of “Think About Me,” an early version of “That’s Enough For Me” called “Out On The Road,” plus several incarnations of “I Know I’m Not Wrong.”

Also included are two discs loaded with 22 unreleased performances from the band’s 1979 Tusk tour with selections from concerts in London, Tucson, and St. Louis. It includes live versions of album tracks like “Sara, “Over And Over” and “Save Me A Place,” as well as favorites like “Landslide,” “You Make Loving Fun,” “Rhiannon,” “Don’t Stop” and “Go Your Own Way.”

Rounding out the Deluxe Edition is a 5.1 surround mix of Tusk on DVD-Audio and vinyl of the original album on 2-LPs. The collection comes housed in an elegant box reminiscent of the acclaimed Rumours Deluxe Edition with a booklet that has extended liner notes that feature new interviews with all the band members.

“In the same radio-friendly alternative-pop bracket as Haim, and rings with the same kind of ambition” – NME

“A pop cracker, all spiky guitars, shimmering synths and kiss-off lyrics.” – The Sunday Times Culture

“A thrilling, driving tune that recalls nothing less than early Bloc Party.” – XFM, Record of the Week

“All pounding, driving rhythms, flashes of synths and Editors-style post-punk guitars.” – Shortlist

After the positive reception that greeted their introductory singles ‘Thank You’ and ‘Too Young To Live’, Irish duo ALL TVVINS have spent recent weeks building towards the release of their current single ‘Darkest Ocean’ which has already passed 700,000 plays between Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud. ALL TVVINS recently hit the road for a tour as guests to Metric, and ‘Darkest Ocean’ was featured on the huge-selling FIFA 16 game.

ALL TVVINS have now launched the official video for ‘Darkest Ocean’ which continues their creative relationship with director Brandan Canty (Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’). It depicts the band’s dynamic performance of the track with a series of stunning aerial shots as the camera sweeps the length of a dramatic stretch of coastline.

The launch of the video follows the news of a new tour that includes a London show at The Victoria, Dalston as well as a set at the Mutations Festival. The dates – scheduled below – added to the recent confirmation of their biggest Dublin show to date at the Academy:

November

20th – Dublin, Academy

21st – Nottingham, Bodega

23rd – Manchester, Ruby Lounge

25th – Glasgow, King Tuts

28th – Brighton, Mutations Festival

30th – London, The Victoria Dalston

Tickets for the Ireland and UK dates are on sale now.

ALL TVVINS consists of two multi-instrumentalists in the shape of Conor Adams (primarily vocals and bass) and Lar Kaye (guitars), who first met on the Dublin underground scene and started working together in the summer of 2013.

Their collision of disparate influences results in a sound akin to a melting point of TV On The Radio’s art-pop twists with the leftfield psychedelic excursions of Animal Collective. Even just a snapshot of their songbook demonstrates an admirable disregard for conventional genre boundaries.

Having previously supported Arcade Fire, Pixies and Jungle, and earned the respect of new wave pioneers Blondie following a set at Electric Picnic, ALL TVVINS’ summer festival touring has already included Pukkelpop, Dot To Dot and Field Day, as well as the VICE house party.
