I wanted to give them to you, to finish this year and open the door to some of my favourite tales I didn’t get to tell – ‘The Good Witch’ is not done yet.”

GREEN DAY RELEASE  “THE AMERICAN DREAM IS KILLING ME”

OUT NOW – LISTEN HERE

FIRST SINGLE AND OPENING TRACK FROM THE ICONIC ROCK BAND’S NEW ALBUM ‘SAVIORS’ OUT JANUARY 19, 2024

NEW ALBUM CO-PRODUCED BY ‘DOOKIE’ AND ‘AMERICAN IDIOT’ PRODUCER ROB CAVALLO

October 24, 2023 (Los Angeles, CA) – Global rock superstars Green Day – Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – have returned with a fiery call to action on “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” the first single and opening track from the group’s 14th studio album Saviors, releasing January 19th, 2024 via Reprise/Warner Records – pre-order HERE. The band debuted “The American Dream Is Killing Me” and “Look Ma, No Brains!” off the new album live last weekend during their triumphant and electrifying Las Vegas, NV, takeover, consisting of a sold-out surprise show at the 800 capacity Fremont and back-to-back headlining performances at When We Were Young Festival.  Listen to “The American Dream is Killing Me” and watch the accompanying music video, directed by Brendan Walter and Ryan Baxley, HERE.   There will also be several exclusive vinyl versions of Saviors available including neon pink with neon green splatter, and black ice with hot pink splatter, with most in very limited supply and pressed only once.

“The American Dream Is Killing Me” was one of the last tracks written and recorded by Green Day for Saviors. “As soon we cut it, we said, `Okay, that’s going first,’” says Billie Joe Armstrong who describes the new song as “a look at the way the traditional American Dream doesn’t work for a lot of people — in fact, it’s hurting a lot of people.”

Recorded in London and Los Angeles, Saviors is the latest powerful collaboration between Green Day and Grammy-winning producer Rob Cavallo, whose notable previous work with Green Day includes two of the band’s most iconic albums, 1994’s Dookie and 2004’s American Idiot. The record comes just ahead of Dookie’s 30th anniversary – celebrations have already begun with the release of a massive deluxe edition of the album and a surprise show in Las Vegas  where the band performed Dookie from front to back to a sold-out crowd of superfans.

Alongside the track the band has unveiled a film noir inspired black and white music video featuring Green Day in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.  The killer video was directed by Brendan Walter and Ryan Baxley and shot in Los Angeles.

Green Day will also be performing this Thursday, October 26 as part of Amazon Music Live’s concert series, and on November 19, the band is heading up north to headline the Twisted Tea Grey Cup Halftime Show for the 110th Grey Cup at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario.

Stay tuned for so much more!

PINKPANTHERESS ANNOUNCES CAPABLE OF LOVE TOUR WITH DATES IN UK, IRELAND & EUROPE TOUR

PLAYING DUBLIN’S 3OLYMPIA THEATRE ON FEBRUARY 20TH

RELEASES LATEST SINGLE ‘Capable of love’

LISTEN HERE

PinkPantheress’ debut album Heaven knows, is out November 10th via Warner Records UK. To celebrate the project’s announcement, PinkPantheress shares ‘Capable of love’ and UK and European Tour dates.

Following on from her critically acclaimed mixtape to hell with it, the debut album reveals PinkPantheress’ inner self-reflection as she explores various types of relationships, including romantic, parasocial, materialistic pursuits, grief, and finding contentment within loneliness. Produced and written by PinkPantheress, the 13-track project was created alongside previous and new collaborators including Greg Kurstin, Mura Masa, Danny L Harle, Count Baldor, Phil, Cash Cobain and more. The product of PinkPantheress and these collective minds working together is an album that exhibits a new emotional depth from the musician’s songwriting paired with her saccharine vocals and earworm production.

Speaking on the album, PinkPantheress explains “The record is about grief for a loss but being at peace with yourself in your aloneness. Journeying from hell into purgatory, but I’m ok with being there”

Credit: Aidan Zamiri

Taken from her debut album, ‘Capable of love’ combines the singer’s DNB roots whilst introducing PinkPantheress’ sonic innovation that will be displayed on Heaven knows. ‘Capable of love’ is the second offering from PinkPantheress’ debut album following the well-received ‘Mosquito’. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, the ‘Capable of love’ music video plays on the idea of endless searching as we see PinkPantheress wander through an empty field baggage in hand until she reaches The Unknown. Through multiple tests against The Unknown, we see PinkPantheress make her way through to a hallway filled with supposed answers to impossible questions. As she reaches the end of the hallway she sees a door with ‘Heaven Knows’ written on the front, this is what she has been searching for.

Speaking on ‘Capable of love’, PinkPantheress saysi am more than amazed and thrilled i can release probably the most anticipated fan-favourite of all my tracks. this song is moving into a genre i’ve always wanted to try and i’m happy to start here”

PinkPantheress has today announced ‘Capable of love tour’ which will include dates in UK, Ireland and Europe. PARAMORE OPEN FOR TAYLOR SWIFT IN IRELAND NEXT YEAR

Today, Paramore have dropped a surprise remix album titled Re: This Is Why. The album features reimagined versions of tracks from their latest studio album, This Is Why, released earlier this year. The album has contributions by indie darlings Bartees Strange, Claud and Wet Leg; Paramore touring partners Foals, The Linda Lindas and Remi Wolf; jazz geniuses DOMi & JD Beck and alternative electronic wizards Panda Bear, Romy & Zane Lowe. The album also includes Paramore’s demo of the album track “Sanity.” Listen to Re: This Is Why HERE.

Hayley Williams on Re: This Is Why

We’ve long wanted to recognize the connection we have with some of the artists who’ve influenced us as a band and/or who have cited our band as an influence. Some of the songs have been remixed sort of classically, while others were reworked or rewritten. It’s incredible to hear all our worlds colliding.

We sent ‘This Is Why’ – the record – out into the world early this year, with all its messages of disdain, distrust, and sobering self-examination.

This is the Reply.

Hayley Williams sat down with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show last night.

When Paramore revealed they were recording together in January 2022 the response from music fans around the world was immediate and celebratory. In the time since the Grammy-winning, RIAA-certified multi-Platinum band released their last album, After Laughter  – and Hayley Williams unveiled two lauded solo albums – Paramore have become more popular than ever.  Over the last few years, Paramore’s influence and popularity has snowballed, as the age of streaming organically propelled them into a position as one of the world’s biggest, most culturally compelling rock bands. For the band, who formed as teenagers in Tennessee, their 20-year trajectory has seen them grow from youthful outsiders to bone-fide pop culture icons, permeating the musical landscape by inspiring a new generation of musical talent.

This Is Why is the band’s most critically lauded release to date and the album’s title track gave them their first #1 at Alternative Radio in the US and was voted “Hottest Record Of The Year” by listeners to BBC Radio One in the UK.The record scored numerous top 10 positions around the world including #1’s in both Australia and the UK and debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. This Is Why has been named one of the best albums of 2023 so far by numerous media outlets including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Stereogum, and more. The single, “Running Out Of Time” currently sits in the Alternative Top 20.

Paramore will continue to tour in support of their long-awaited return album, including tour dates in New Zealand and Australia next month. Paramore will join Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour as the opener for all 48 dates of the 2024 European leg of the tour. The European leg kicks off in Paris on May 9th and wraps in London on August 17th at Wembley Stadium, one of six nights the tour will spend at the legendary venue. Paramore opened for Taylor Swift on the very first two shows of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Glendale, AZ in March of this year.

This Is Why is Paramore’s excellent foray into post-punk”Rolling Stone

“a band who can read the zeitgeist before it truly hits” – Dork

This Is Why is their most biting, fearless, and aggressive work to date, as Paramore channel their rage into a tenacious call for political action and self-reflection… the result is a tight, 10-track effort that blends the band’s past eras—from the teen angst of RIOT! all the way to the quiet confidence of Williams’ 2020 solo LP Petals for Armor—and marries nostalgia with the starkness of our 2023 lives.”  – The Daily Beast

“it’s Williams’s most unvarnished vocal performance in nearly a decade.” – New Yorker

“a fearless triumph” – Rock Sound

“An outstanding return” – Clash

AUTUMN VARIATIONS HAS BEEN PRODUCED BY AARON DESSNER

Announced last month, Ed Sheeran said of Autumn Variations –“Last autumn, I found that my friends and I were going through so many life changes. After the heat of the summer, everything either calmed, settled, fell apart, came to a head or imploded.”  “When I went through a difficult time at the start of last year, writing songs helped me understand my feelings and come to terms with what was going on, and when I learned about my friend’s different situations, I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time. There were highs of falling in love and new friendships among lows of heartbreak, depression, loneliness and confusion.”“My dad and brother told me about a composer called Elgar, who composed ‘Enigma Variations’, where each of the 14 compositions were about a different one of his friends. This is what inspired me to make this album. When I recorded Subtract with Aaron Dessner, we clicked immediately. We wrote and recorded non-stop and this album was born out of that partnership. I feel he has captured the feeling of autumn so wonderfully in his sonics and I hope everyone loves it as much as I do.”

Ed Sheeran will play two sold out shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall on the 18th and 19th November. Set to perform his upcoming album ‘Autumn Variations’ in full on both nights – where Ed will also be accompanied by a live band and string section – it will be the only remaining chance to see him perform in the UK this year.

HXNEY’S BRAND-NEW SINGLE “HAPPY ENDING” OUT NOW

HXNEY’S BRAND-NEW SINGLE “HAPPY ENDING” OUT NOW!

LISTEN/STREAM HERE

Singer HXNEY has released her latest single “Happy Ending” available now via Diffusion Lab on all DSPs and streaming services HERE.

Lyrically, the song “is a reminder to us all that life comes with ups and downs and there is no reward without sacrifice even in love.”

The singer explains “The most rewarding love story will have some parts of it that aren’t so ideal but that’s just life. This means something to me because it shifts my perspective of the idea of perfectionism I’ve had for so long and now understanding life is what we make of it.”

She hopes this track reminds people that “We have to cherish the good with the bad and we’ll find our Joy”

Speaking about the creative process for this song, HXNEY explains that The writing process for this song was unique because me and my co-writer ‘Solow the Astronaut’ played a game where he came up with a line then it became my turn to write the next line, and we went back and forth like that until we had all the lyrics written and then we worked on the melodies after. We ended up with a perfectly written song that has a lot of sentimental references.

The song is produced by Chris Bubenzer (Benza) and the production process was honestly seamless for this song, we just vibed out the whole time because we were so obsessed with this song.”

“Happy Ending” is out now on Diffusion Lab.  Listen / Stream HERE

MENRVA: BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘PEACHES’.

BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘PEACHES’ OUT TODAY ON WARNER MUSIC IRELAND

LISTEN HERE

“Love it! Anthem! This should be a hit record! Great lyrics sung with authenticity!”… DAVID HOLMES

Menrva, comprise of brothers Luke and Christian Papenfus, the House Music production duo hailing from Northern Ireland. The brothers have been making waves on the House Music scene over the last few years. They are unleashing their new single “Peaches’ today. The track is themed on the Jill Scott track “Hate On Me” featuring the incredible vocals of Abby P.  The brothers knew they could reimagine this R&B modern classic with house music sensibilities and bring it to a new audience.

LISTEN HERE

Though some might interpret “Peaches” as an expression of self-confidence and empowerment while evoking feelings of freedom and liberation, the brothers prefer to leave the interpretation up to the listener as essentially what they have delivered in “Peaches” finds life on the dancefloor. The brothers are from a musical family and from a young age, they embraced a symphony of instruments, nurturing a deep passion for music that would ultimately shape their unique creative styles.

Before becoming the musical powerhouse known as Menrva, Luke and Christian embarked on a diverse journey through the sonic landscape. Their musical odyssey began with forays into Hip Hop, Grime, and Drum and Bass, each genre serving as a stepping stone in their artistic evolution. However, it was the vibrant city of London that truly shaped their musical destiny. The brothers relocated to the British capital, where they would spend six transformative years. The brothers honed their craft independently at this time, both exploring many genres and roles in music as producers/writers.

In the vibrant metropolis of London, a city teeming with culture, resounding with music, and bursting with limitless creative potential, Luke and Christian discovered themselves completely engrossed in the city’s opulent musical landscape. The pulsating beats of 4/4 dance and the irresistible charm of house music served as potent catalysts, sparking a passion that would chart the trajectory of their future pursuits.

Fuelled by this newfound inspiration, Menrva came into existence, bringing with it not only the rich musical diversity cultivated throughout their journey but also the undeniable, contagious energy that London had generously infused into them.

Their duo’s journey in music has been marked by consistent support from influential platforms like Radio 1, Kiss FM, and Cool FM. Notably, their tracks have graced the airwaves and featured on Love Island, catapulting them into the spotlight. Menrva’s remixes for renowned artists such as Lennon Stella and Tom Grennan have further solidified their reputation as artists / producers. In addition, Menrva’s previous releases garnered widespread acclaim, receiving support from industry heavyweights like Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Sagala, and many more, showcasing their ability to captivate both listeners and fellow musicians alike with their unique sound.
