GRAMMY®
AWARD-WINNING PARAMORE SINGER TO RELEASE DEBUT SOLO ALBUM
“PETALS FOR ARMOR” SET TO ARRIVE ON FRIDAY, MAY 8TH
Hayley Williams has announced today’s premiere of “Simmer,” the first single from the GRAMMY® award-winning Paramore singer’s hugely anticipated debut solo album. The smoldering track is available now via Atlantic Records at all DSPs and streaming services; an equally fiery official video – directed by Warren Fu (Paramore, The 1975, The Strokes) – is streaming now via the official Hayley Williams YouTube channel
Produced
by Taylor York, lead collaborator in the GRAMMY® award-winning Paramore,
“Simmer” heralds Williams’ upcoming debut solo album, “PETALS FOR ARMOR,” due
May 8th.
“I’m
so ready and so incredibly humbled to get to share this project,” says
Williams. “Making it was a scary, empowering experience. Some of my proudest
moments as a lyricist happened while writing ‘PETALS FOR ARMOR.’ And I was able
to get my hands a little dirtier than usual when it came to instrumentation.
I’m in a band with my favorite musicians so I never really feel the need to
step into a role as a player when it comes to Paramore records. This project,
however, benefited from a little bit of musical naïveté and rawness and so I
experimented quite a bit more. I made this with some of the closest people to
me. Their respective talents really shine bright throughout the record. I like
to think we all make each other better and the result is something that sounds
and FEELS exactly as I’d hoped it would. Now that it’s time to put it all out
there, I can finally exhale. I’m excited to let people in to experience a
different side of myself that I’ve only very recently become familiar with.”
“Simmer”
marks Hayley Williams’ first new music release since Paramore’s chart-topping
2017 album, “AFTER
LAUGHTER.” Highlighted by the gold certified “Hard
Times,” and singles “Told
You So,” “Fake
Happy,” and “Rose-Coloured
Boy,” the LP debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Top Alternative Albums” chart
upon its May 2017 release while also arriving on the overall
SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #6 – Paramore’s third consecutive top 10 chart
debut. Along with its popular success, “AFTER LAUGHTER” ultimately proved one
of the year’s most critically applauded releases, with The Fader, Pitchfork,
Rolling Stone, NPR, Billboard, and many more ranking it among their “Best of
2017” coverage.
Paramore
has accomplished a truly remarkable run of RIAA certified albums and singles
since coming together in Nashville in 2004, from 2005’s gold certified debut,
“ALL WE KNOW IS FALLING” featuring the gold certified single “Pressure,” and
2007’s 2x platinum certified breakthrough, “RIOT!” (with its 4x platinum-certified
hit, “Misery Business,” as well as the platinum certified singles
“crushcrushcrush” and “That’s What You Get”) to 2008’s worldwide 2x platinum
“Decode” (from Chop Shop/Atlantic’s chart-topping “TWILIGHT – ORIGINAL MOTION
PICTURE SOUNDTRACK”) and 2009’s platinum certified “brand new eyes” with its
GRAMMY®-nominated smash, the 2x platinum “The Only Exception” and the gold
certified “Ignorance.”
The
band’s RIAA platinum certified fourth album, simply entitled “PARAMORE,” made a
chart-busting debut atop the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its April 2013
release – Paramore’s first #1 album to date. Named the year’s “Best Rock Album”
by Entertainment Weekly, “PARAMORE” showcased a string of singles, including 2x
RIAA platinum certified hit, the top 10 “Still Into You,” and the #1 3x
platinum hit, “Ain’t It Fun.” The latter track proved Paramore’s biggest single
to date, ascending to #1 at Hot AC and Rock radio outlets nationwide, #2 at Top
40, as well as to the top 10 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” – the band’s first ever
top 10 hit on the overall chart and their highest peaking song thus far.
“Ain’t It Fun” saw Paramore taking home their first-ever GRAMMY® Award, earning
the “Best Rock Song” trophy at the 57th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. In addition,
Williams was named that year as the first winner of Billboard’s “Trailblazer
Award,” honouring her as a standout female artist who breaks from convention to
make a unique mark and pave the way for new talent.
Long
regarded as an exhilarating live act, Paramore has spent much of the past
decade-plus on the road, including countless sold out world tours and
show-stealing festival sets around the globe.
Williams
is also an accomplished entrepreneur, co-founding the vegan, cruelty-free hair
colour brand, Good
Dye Young.
The Blessed Madonna has released new album track, ‘Brand New’ ft. James Vincent McMorrow & A-Trak — the latest taste of her long-awaited debut album, ‘Godspeed’.
Following hot on the heels of club anthem and album centrepiece, ‘Edge Of Saturday Night’ with Kylie and latest LP cut, ‘Secretariat’ ft. Shaun J. Wright & KON, ‘Brand New’ sees The Blessed Madonna join forces with Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow and legendary DJ, turntablist and producer, A-Trak, for the first time.
“In a lot of ways ‘Brand New’ was the trickiest cut on the album”, explains The Blessed Madonna. “I felt like James’ voice and writing was an opportunity to strike a precarious balance between house and a certain kind of euphoric neo soul that you heard, particularly in the late eighties and early nineties. But also the gospel thread needed to be delicately stitching everything together. I was always thinking how would Weatherall have done this, or Hifi Sean or even Soul II Soul. It took about 40000 tries and at the last minute I dm’d A-Trak and said, ‘hey dude I know you’re busy but is there any chance you could do the scratches on this record?’. And the choir isn’t a choir. That’s another thing. It’s 3 voices stacked about 40 times. Credit where it’s due here to the genius patience that is Pat Alvarez for making my thousand part stack sound like 100 people. All the usual characters have their finger prints here. Hen. Jin Jin. Maria Hazell. TEED’s house stabs. We tried a million ideas and threw 999,999 of them out. And of course there’s me punching above my weight (budget): The strings are not real. They’re me playing them on a synthesizer and using a tremolo to make them sound more human. In a lot of ways I think this is my favourite song on the album and that is, after all the things that got us here, down to James. His brilliance. It is unmistakable and unmatched.”
Lifted from her 24-track debut LP, ‘Godspeed’, ‘Brand New’ was also debuted live at The Blessed Madonna’s album leak party at Smartbar in Chicago last month, where she was joined by A-Trak, Nikki Nair, Uffie, Jamie Principle, Shaun J. Wright & more.

Today, Amble release their new single and title track of their forthcoming EP, ‘The Commons’.
The five-track EP is set for release on Friday November 1st, the music will be the first release with Warner Records US.
The release of the new single and EP announcement comes as the band are on their headline, sold-out tour across the US and Canada and return to Europe at the end of October to kick start their sold-out Irish and UK leg of the tour including three sold-out Olympia Theatre shows in Dublin. Full list of dates below.
‘The Commons’ single was written and recorded by Oisin, Robbie and Ross after finding a letter on the table of an empty train carriage traveling from Dublin to the midlands, the song was written before the train journey was over. The song written from a place of empathy and reflection upon finding the heartbreaking letter that unveiled a mothers devastation over the loss of her young son to suicide. ..‘I’ll leave a letter on a train ..No date , No name ..For a stranger to turn and read ..And for a moment, I’ll be free’
On writing this song, they say ‘The subject matter of suicide will always be a difficult topic to discuss, let alone write about – but the letter only highlighted the many friends, students and family members whose lives have been affected by suicide. The song’s title, ‘The Commons’ shows the unfortunate familiarity of the topic in question. Picturing that ‘common’ area – whether it be the green of a housing estate, a local park,or a football field where kids and teenagers meet to play. ‘The Commons’ was not written to try and shed light on any solution or agenda, rather it is the expression of a feeling at a given time. The song, the letter and the topic itself are undeniably sad, but the ultimate feeling leaving that train carriage was of hope and the instrumental at the end of ‘The Commons’ is the musical expression of that hope’
‘The Commons’ EP is out on Friday November 1st, it includes the title track and previously releases single ‘Little White Chapel’
Coldplay’s highly-anticipated tenth album, Moon Music has landed in stores and on streaming services today.
The album can be purchased / downloaded / streamed here.
Moon Music, which was produced by Max Martin, contains August’s iTunes chart-topping single WE PRAY – with Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna & TINI – and June’s double MTV VMAs-nominated single feelslikeimfallinginlove, which reached Number 1 on both the UK’s airplay chart and the Official Big Top 40. A third single, All My Love, is released alongside the album, with a video filmed at a Las Vegas karaoke bar premiering later today on the bands youtube channel
Chris Martin recently posted a video offering some insight into the album, saying: “I think what this album is about is a response to struggling with all the conflict within oneself, within myself, and also all the conflict outside, and working out what the best response is. And I think what Moon Music is trying to say is maybe love is the best response.”
Moon Music was given its worldwide premiere on Monday at the Moon Saloon in Moon, Wisconsin, followed by a worldwide listening event in cinemas on Tuesday and Wednesday. The band will celebrate the release of the album with a performance on tomorrow night’s Saturday Night Live, followed by a special concert on Monday for Sirius XM at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY. They will then perform live on the TODAY Plaza for NBC’s TODAY Show on Monday.
Coldplay: The Moon Music Interview with Zane Lowe | Apple Music
Coldplay join Zane Lowe in Dublin to talk about their new album.
NEW FORMATS AND NEW SUSTAINABILITY STANDARDS
In tandem with Coldplay’s ground-breaking sustainability measures on their current world tour – which has so far produced 59% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour – the band have gone to great lengths to make the physical release of Moon Music as sustainable as possible.
This is the world’s first album released as a 140g EcoRecord rPET LP, with each copy made from 9 recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste. Additionally, the band have collaborated with long-time partners The Ocean Cleanup to create an additional format: the Notebook Edition LP. The rPET for this edition comprises 70% river plastic, intercepted by The Ocean Cleanup from the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala, and prevented from reaching the Gulf of Honduras and the Atlantic Ocean. The standard CD editions of Moon Music will be the world’s first to be released on EcoCD, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, sourced from post-consumer waste streams. In an effort to reduce waste, the first edition run of Moon Music (both EcoRecord LP and EcoCD) will be strictly limited and produced at a higher specification.
Moon Music is Coldplay’s first album since 2021’s Music Of The Spheres, which spawned the US Number One single with BTS, My Universe, and was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. Music Of The Spheres has accumulated more than four billion streams.
Following a landmark year in which she celebrated her tenth Top 10 single (‘Alibi’), earnt her third BRIT Award nomination (‘Song of the Year’), was awarded for garnering over a billion streams and performed at Capital’s Summertime Ball alongside the likes of RAYE and Sabrina Carpenter, Ella Henderson is back with ‘Filthy Rich’, a foot-stomping, hand-clapping, feel-good anthem inspired by the people that matter to her the most – family and friends.
Arriving as the first solo single since the release of her Gold-certified second album ‘Everything I Didn’t Say’ (2022), Ella shares: “Writing ‘Filthy Rich’ brought me right back to my roots. It’s a constant reminder of the fact that yes, I do what I love, but without the people I love unconditionally surrounding me, it would all be for nothing. Words can’t express how excited I am to finally be sharing this new chapter of music with the world. Ten years in and this feels like a new start.”
To create the ‘Filthy Rich’ visualiser, Ella pulled footage from her family archives and returned to her hometown of Grimsby and Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire with director Luke O’Sullivan to capture a day out with her best friend, Georgia, who’s named in the song.

London, UK, Thursday 3 October 2024 – KSI, one of the UK’s most influential and multi-talented artists, shares two highly-anticipated singles: “Thick of It” featuring Trippie Redd and “Low” via Warner Records – listen HERE.
These tracks mark an exciting new chapter in KSI’s ever-evolving music career, inviting listeners to dive deeper into his personal journey of resilience, self-belief, and the reality of fame.
Speaking about “Thick of It”, KSI shared, “This is essentially my comeback song. I talk about the history of my career and where I’ve come from. Plus, I’m giving my audience the blueprint on how to dream big and reach the goals that they want to reach. With the help of Trippie Redd, this song is a celebration of the 10 plus years I’ve been online entertaining the people.”
Trippie Redd adds, “I’m excited to be working with my brother JJ again on another fire release. Can’t wait to take the world by storm with this track.”
Produced by Ray Michael Djan Jr (BTS) and co-written with an all-star team, “Thick of It” is a bold anthem of triumph. The track sees KSI reflect on his rise from humble beginnings to becoming a global icon, all while staying unshaken by the challenges and negativity that come with success. With lyrics like “forty something mili sales,” KSI asserts his place at the top, fully in control of his destiny.
The accompanying music video, directed by KC Locke (Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Jorja Smith), is an epic visual spectacle. Starting in the remote icy landscapes of Antarctica, KSI, frozen in a block of ice, is brought to life to begin his rap journey. As he transitions through various stages—from sitting on an ice throne to taking over a KSI-branded Wall Street tower—the video symbolically portrays KSI’s dominance in both music and business, culminating in a dramatic tornado scene where he battles the elements, emerging victorious.
“Low” takes a more introspective turn, delving into the emotional toll of balancing external success with internal struggles. As KSI puts it, “I wrote low at a very dark time in my life. I wasn’t in a good place mentally and felt compelled to write this as a way of therapy for me. I was dealing with imposter syndrome as well as heartbreak. So this is me essentially giving you a piece of me at a time where I wasn’t at my best.”
Co-written by Sam Roman as well as Pharoah Vice (The Kid LAROI), Nike Taz (Trippie Redd), and Nick Gale of Digital Farm Animals (Charli XCX) who co-produced the record, the song offers a raw and vulnerable look at KSI’s personal battles with self-doubt and pressure. While the world sees a man at the top of his game, “Low” reveals the exhaustion and emotional disconnect that often lurks beneath the surface. It’s a relatable track for anyone who has felt overwhelmed by the expectations of others while quietly grappling with their own insecurities.

2024 has been a whirlwind for Swims, who celebrated the success of his multi-Platinum chart-conquering hit “Lose Control” from I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1).In addition to claiming the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the song has amassed over 2.3 billion global streams, reached #1 on five radio formats (Top 40, Hot AC, AC, R&B, and Rhythm), and was recently inducted into Spotify’s “Billions Club.”
Putting in real work for years, a quiet, yet steady grind brought Swims to the forefront of popular culture as a tried-and-true star without comparison. Teddy started to gain notoriety after posting covers online in 2019 — such as Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” and Shania Twain’s “You’re Still The One” — gaining hundreds of millions of views, leading to his signing to Warner Records in 2020. He tirelessly honed his voice and songwriting across EPs such as Unlearning [2021], Tough Love [2022], and Sleep Is Exhausting [2022]. He showcased his sky-high range by collaborating with artists such as Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Meghan Trainor, X Ambassadors, Thomas Rhett,ILLENIUM, Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, and Matoma. NEW SEASON OF THE VOICE KICKED OFF THIS WEEK WITH MEGASTAR COACHES MICHAEL BUBLÉ, SNOOP DOGG, GWEN STEFANI, AND REBA McENTIRE
Taking stock of a historic career so far, Michael Bublé proudly presents his brand new greatest hits album, TheBest Of Bublé, out now on all DSPs and CD via Reprise Records. Available HERE. Perfect for long-time fans and newcomers alike, the album will also be available on Standard Black 2LP Vinyl on November 22, with exclusive 2LP color vinyl available on the Michael Buble Official Store (Clear), Barnes and Noble (Olive Green) and Amazon (White). Purchase HERE.
Heralding the release early last month, the GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum superstar entertainer shared a previously unreleased song entitled “Don’t Blame It On Me”. The track takes flight as a signature Bublé anthem. Handclaps, stand-up bass, and bright acoustic guitar set the tempo as he teases, “Don’t blame it on me for falling in love with you, anybody could see there was nothing I could do!” The momentum crescendos boosted by a boisterous horn section, big screen-ready strings, and an instantly chantable chorus. With its lovestruck spirit and uncontainable energy, it has all the makings of a future staple.
The Best OfBublé notably boasts 21 essential tracks from across his catalog. It spans seminal smashes such as “Haven’t Met You Yet,” “Feeling Good,” “Sway,” “Everything,”“It’s A Beautiful Day,” and recently released anthem “Don’t Blame It On Me.” Also included in the compilation is “Quizas, Quizas, Quizas,” the second unreleased song from the album, which features a lyric video HERE.
In other big news, Bublé has joined the powerhouse coaching panel on The Voice, alongside Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and RebaMcEntire. Season 26 premiered on September 23 on NBC.
Last year, he impressively took home his fifth GRAMMY® Award. At the 2023 ceremony, his acclaimed LP, Higher, earned the trophy for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.” He has scored 12 total nominations to date.
With its procession of hits and new unreleased gems, The Best Of Bublé doubles as an expansive overview of Bublé’s musical journey so far, while hinting at much more to come…
SOLD OUT headline tour kicks off next week which includes a headline show
at The Academy 2
on Tuesday 1st October
“They seize the stage and twist every notion of what a band can be in 2024…Your new favourite boyband has arrived” – Dork
“Bursting onto the indie scene with a slick, charismatic energy, the Irish quintet are landing themselves on the ones-to-watch list.” – Clash
“Boasting their carefully crafted indie rock sound alongside hints of modern psychedelia” – DIY
“They are undoubtedly one of the most exciting new guitar bands in the UK.”– Wonderland
After a triumphant summer of shows and international festivals, which included Rock City, Rock en Seine, All Points East, Reeperbahn and Reading & Leeds, Soft Launch – the idiosyncratic Anglo-Irish Art Pop quintet – are back with a banger to eke out the final remnants of sun – or as they put it “the song of the summer that we’ve decided to release in September” with a tongue firmly placed in their collective cheeks.
‘Milkshakes’ is a piece of retro-futuristic funk as mixed by Spike Stent. Swathed in an expertly executed warm, hazy analogue production, it’s a song for the had-enough crew. The fed up and emotionally drained who want to stand up in protest to the barrage of external noise and just, well, drink milkshakes.
Having cut their teeth on the live stage at multiple shows since their debut single ‘Cartwheels’ landed in spring this year, Soft Launch are fast becoming a must see band across the country. It’s fortuitous then, that their debut headline tour starts next week in Josh’s hometown Dublin on October 1st. A sure to be “I was there” moment – the sold out gig at the Academy 2 will be one to remember. The tour then heads to Glasgow before snaking down through the cities of Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham all the way south to Brighton on the 9th. Another quick jaunt back up to Nottingham, Liverpool and Bristol before finishing up at The Garage, London on October 15th.
Soft Launch are disrupting the traditional boyband tag and have already made significant waves across three single releases this year, ‘Cartwheels’, ‘Piano Hands’ and ‘In My Bed’ (live at Oslo) – all of which offer up fresh insight into their individualistic musical style. They all write, produce, and deftly interchange instruments on record and at their wildly energetic live gigs. Lead vocals come in various waves from Josh McClorey, Henry Pearce, Conor Price & Ben Quinn, with Limmer steadying The Beach Boys-esque ship. What’s most impressive is the total trust they have in each other as songwriters. There’s a single body around which these five boys pump their creative blood. Each of them an organ, each of them playing a vital role. There is no self-sacrifice and no self-aggrandising- it’s one gorgeous egoless ecosystem.
